Two prehistoric pottery vessels, including: one Jeddito black-on-buff pottery bowl, circa A.D. 1400, of deep rounded form, painted on the interior with a bold geometric pattern of solid and hatched elements radiating from the center, a broken band below the rim; and a Casas Grandes polychrome clay Effigy jar, Ramos, Medio Period, Diablo Phase, circa A.D. 1205-1340, in the form of a seated male figure with expanded body cavity. Provenance: Sotheby's, Fine American Indian Art Sale, December 3, 1986. [Taller: 9 3/4"]. In good condition. Figure restored.
