Jorn, Asger and Pierre Alechinsky, Carl-Henning Pedersen, Horst Antes, et al., Large Lot of monographs and exhibition catalogs relating to artists from the CoBrA movement, includes 26 books total, mix of hardcover and softcover, most in English but some in Franch and Danish, priumarily 1960s or 1970s. Artists and number of books: Alechinsky (10), Jorn (4), Pedersen (5), Antes (3), Robert Jacobsen (2) and one each on Reinhoud and Lucebert. Provenance: from the estate of Leon and Jane Arkus. Leon was the Director of the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, from 1969 to 1980. Arkus was one of the major proponents of brining the CoBrA movement to collectors and museums in the United States.
Condition
In fair to good condition, clean contents, a few bindings with wear, includine one Alechinsky book that's missing half of its spine. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
