Antique c1900 Ohio Star Quilt measuring 77x78". It is comprised of 49 Ohio Star blocks, 7x7" set on point, 7 by 7, with red print alternating squares, setting triangles, and 5" border. Thin cotton batting and a blue and black print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by hand. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. In fair condition with small spots, and several repairs by machine in the border, and along the edges, along with another small hole in a border. This quilt is from the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author.
