Meiji period (1868-1912), a bulbous vase with very finely painted scenes of Japanese figures in large reserves, surrounded by dark sapphire blue ground with honeycomb and floral decoration in gilt, signed to underside ??????? (dai nihon kinkozan zo) "made in Great Japan by Kinkozan, comes together with a raised carved wooden stand.
