Description
A near pair of vintage salvaged marine naval lamps produced from the brass housings of ship's binnacles, constructed circa 1950s. A married set of bespoke lighting fixtures, one produced in the United Kingdom (stamped to face MARFAC LIVERPOOL), the other produced by a French manufacturer. Both featuring large polished brass heads with original elements including round glass crystal windows, and original compasses to interior. Surmounted by curving brass stems and harps with sailboat form finials. Vintage electrical cords and wall plugs. Not accompanied by shades. Provenance; a private collection.
Dimensions: 33 X 11 X 10 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear, patina, and oxidation. Working condition. Estate fresh to the market.
