Item Details

Description

Attributed to Roullet & DeCamps, a Drinking Bear automaton with clockwork mechanism. Covered in mohair with glass eyes, and composition paws and feet, holding a pewter cup in left hand and pewter bottle in right hand. When wound up, workingcondition, however slowly. Approx. 14" tall. The mohair is aggressively shedding, just the slightest touch and the mohair falls off. There is paint loss and scuffing/chipping to the paws and feet. When shipped, bear will be placed in aplastic bag to preserve any mohair that will fall off during transit, which we cannot be responsible for.
