An upholstered sofa from Norman Rockwell's house in Arlington Vermont - photo included shows Norman laying on couch that has been reupholstered - the replaced upholstery is in poor condition - photo courtesy of Thomas Rockwell family. Measures 76"L x 30"D x 26 1/2" total height. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
