Grouping of country collectibles, most 19th century, including: A cast iron trivet decorated with star over tassels and hearts over 2 doves - traces of gilding - 8 3/4"L; a wire basket - 7"H x 9" diameter and a wire spoon; cast iron snow bird; an early iron door handle; a cast iron beehive form string holder with patent date 1861, a cast iron "The Argard Lemon Squeezer No. 2" with wooden masher; 2 pewter plates with partial hallmark that appears to read "....Robe 1737 - the front edge of plate engraved with the initials JCR and dated 1790; a pewter charger in fair condition - 15" diameter; a hand forged iron food chopper; a copper fluid lamp missing burner; and an unknown cast iron tool with engraved handles. Most items in good condition. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
