Handwritten autograph letter from King Charles III (Then Charles, Prince of Wales), two pages dated February 15, 1998, on Highgrove House letterhead, addressed to Sergeant Lewis expressing gratitude, excerpts read "Once again, you were a star on this latest expedition! I really don't know what we would do without all your hard-won skills at the art of baggage control, etc. I have a ghastly feeling it must be very nearly 25 years that you have been enduring this kind of thing on our behalf and I am profoundly grateful to you. I can well imagine what a nightmare it must be & certainly don't take it for granted. I only hope it doesn't take too much out of you!"..."With every best wish, as always, from Charles". Includes envelope.
