Beverly Buchanan (American, 1940-2015). "Untitled - Red Shack" - 1988, paint on wood and foam core, signed and dated to underside of roof overhang.

Provenance:
Private Collection, Atlanta, GA; acquired directly from the artist at the inaugural National Black Arts Festival in 1988.

Approximate Dimensions:
h. 15.75", w. 12.5", d. 10"

Condition

Structurally stable. Minor losses to some corners and edges of planks. Foam core cornice above front porch with small triangular indentation. Chimney with chip to one edge.
