Mixed Group [11] of Stocks and Bonds from Various Cities and Territories, 1831-1952

A mixed group of 11 stocks and bonds from a wide variety of companies from a range of cities and states across the United States. Varying in size, dating from ca. 1831 to 1952. The majority have flattened folds and varying degrees of toning and soiling. Some with cancellation punches. There are a few small separations and tears at the edges of some pieces. Boldly signed certificates. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information. Overall, very good.

Highlights include:
1. Buffalo City. Buffalo City, Doniphan County, Kansas Territory, dated February 21, 1857. No. 145, issuing one share, being 150th portion of land of the city.
2. The Iowa Homestead Company. New York, dated June 6, 1864. No. 7, issuing 562 shares of $100 Capital Stock.
3. [4] United States of America, Territory of Florida. Tallahassee, dated January 31, 1831 and January 31, 1835. Four bond certificates, No. 715, 684, 697, and 670. Each is a 6% bond for $1000 and all have retained $30 tickets.
4. The Magnificent Empire of Texas. Houston, dated 1952. A Black Gold certificate valid for "One Hundred Texas Bucks."
5. City of Providence Bond. Providence, Rhode Island, dated May 1, 1897. No. 56, for $20,000 due to the Board of Commissioners of Sinking Funds of the City of Providence.
