Charles Eames (a native St. Louisian) and his wife, Ray Kaiser Eames, worked together as a creative couple in Los Angeles for more than 40 years, pushing the boundaries of mid-century architecture, furniture and household/ office objects to exciting new limits. Similar in design to the aluminum group series of chairs, the Soft Pad Task Chair offers the same aesthetic with the addition of plush, individually upholstered cushions to the seat and back.
