Verne F. Hobbs watercolor depicting Cathedral Square Milwaukee 1960. On the reverse side there is handwritten message "This watercolor was painted from my studio window at 759 No. Milwaukee St., 5th floor, Room 501. The red building is an old Milwaukee landmark - The original Masonic Temple, at Wells & Jefferson Sts. Tower of St. Marks Church is in the background of the building. The block square park is where the old Milwaukee Courthouse stood when I first came to Milwaukee in 1928". (Block square park = Cathedral Square). There is also a business card for Verne F. Hobbs Design.
