Property from the Estate of a Former General Electric International Executive, Hilton Head Island, SC
Description:
3 African Standing Figures, and Another, group of four carved wood figures, the largest a kneeling male figure (cracking to base, large crack in wood from head to feet on back of figure), another standing figure with colorful bead accessories, possibly a single Nigerian Ibedji twin figure, (crack to back of figure, some chips to hair), and one holding an object with a cowrie shell and leather cord cape, possibly an Ancestor Figure of Eshu, Yoruba, Nigeria, (some small areas of bug damage to head of figure), the fourth figure standing with hands pressed together (some minor cracking to back of figure, chip to headdress). Provenance of Ibedji and Eshu: Totem-Meneghelli Gallery, Johannesburg, 1979, with Certificate of Athenticity.Measurements: Height: of largest, 19 in. x Width: 5 3/4 in. x Depth: 5 1/2 in.

Overall good condition, general wear with marks and scratches, see description.
