Roman, early Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. A beautiful perfume-holding vessel known as an unguentarium, with a waisted bulbous base, and slender tall neck. The blown glass is made from a pale aqua hue, which has attained areas of silvery iridescence over the years. Size: 1.2" W x 4.75" H (3 cm x 12.1 cm)
