Lot of Four (4) Vintage Laminated and Carved Bakelite Bracelets to Include Bangles by Ron and Ester Schultz
For your consideration are a lot of (4) vintage bakelite bangle bracelets. The three largest bangles are attributed to Ron Schultz. Schultz is well known and widely collected for his whimsical designs made from all sorts of old bakelite - radios, blanks and jukeboxes to name a few sources. She then carefully cuts and polishes them into the beauties you see here. The first Shultz offering is a massive laminated yellow bakelite bangle with large black polkadots. The bangle is 1 5/8" wide with an internal diameter of 2 3/4". Schultz also designed the other large bangle being offered - a 3-row checkerboard bangle with clear, purple, orange and green squares. This truly rare find measures a whopping 1 3/4" in width and has an internal diameter of 2 3/4". The bracelet with alternating yellow and faux amber panels is a vintage resin offering and is 1" wide with a triangular profile and an interior diameter of 2 7/8". The final offering is a 1950's carved butterscotch bakelite 'bamboo' bangle. This bangle is 3/8" wide and has an interior diameter of 2 5/8".
