incorporating antique and later elements

The collection of Joe and Madalyn Farley, London.
Property from the Collection of Craig Wright.

Footnote:
The London prop house of Farley was opened in 1962 by Joe, an artist and picture framer, and Madalyn Farley. After a visit by a set decorator to his frame shop, Joe saw the opportunity of renting art and antiques for film and television productions. The business started small, with mostly pieces from his own home being hired out to dress sets, but over time continued to grow.

The bed offered here can be seen films including Tom Jones, with Albert Finney, Mary queen of Scots, Lady Jane and others.

Condition

In overall restored condition, with later added elements. Structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracking, scattered losses and wear. Approximate interior frame measurements 81 X 61in
