CHARLES A. BURNETT, GEORGETOWN, DC COIN SILVER PUNCH / SOUP LADLE, having an ovoid bowl on a long, curved fiddle handle with pointed shoulders and an engraved "G" initial. Impressed to back with double-struck maker's mark of "C [pellet] A [pellet] BURNETT" for Charles A. Burnett of Georgetown, DC (active 1796-c. 1840), who also worked in Fredericksburg, VA (active 1788-1793) and Alexandria, VA (active 1793-c. 1796). Total weight: 6.050 ozt. First half 19th century. 12 1/2" LOA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks, bowl with a short split to side edge, a few minute/small dents, and some areas of heavy short surface scratches.
