Description

AGS CERTIFIED #11261. DSP. A nice example of this double sided porcelain sign from Shell Gasoline featuring the iconic company logo with a nice die-cut clam shell shape. CONDITION: Side 1 shows nice gloss and color in the field. There are a few areas of dullness to the gloss, likely from weather when this sign hung outside. There are a few small porcelain chips in the "H" of "SHELL," but otherwise the field remains chip free. The outer edges and mounting holes show porcelain chipping and wear- the worst of which is around the mounting holes (Score 87). Side 2 retains similarly nice color and shine. There a few scattered porcelain chips in the field, as well as, some surface scratching and spiderwebbing in the gloss. The outer edges and mounting holes show porcelain chipping and wear (Score 85). The colors on this piece make it quite eye-catching and it displays wonderfully. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (AGS CERTIFIED SCORE 87,85). Dimensions: 48" X 48".
