Bronze Sculpture of Damoxenos the Pugilist Boxer, after Antonio Canova. This small and heavy neoclassical figure of Damoxenos of Syracuse in a fighting pose stands on a base, and is cast after the sculpture by Antonio Canova (Italian, 1757-1822). Marked "#1" on bottom. A magnet does not stick to it.
Dimensions are 13.75 in h x 8.75 in w x 4.25 in d. Condition is good, although this rendering of Damoxenos is missing the right hand; has two small circles on back, likely from cast process.
