Description
Richard Meier prototype lamp table designed for the Knoll Furniture Company. Unfinished bent maple wood, has pencil markings where the lamp cord would be on the finished model. There is a 1/4 in hole drilled in the tabletop. There are 13 mortised risers, the finished model has 10. The mortise in the base at the front riser is unusual and different from the finished model. 27.5"H x 18"D, table surface height is 21.5 in. The Richard Meier Chair and Tables are from the estate of a Knoll Furniture employee who worked in the R&D department during the 1970's and early 1980's. They worked on the project for the Richard Meier Knoll Collection and acquired these items at the completion of the project.
