The shell-carved crest rail above a vasiform splat and needlework drop-in seat flanked by shaped arms on scrolled supports, on shell-carved cabriole legs and trifid feet.
Height 35 3/4 in. (90.8 cm), width 29 in. (73.7 cm), depth 21 in. (53.3 cm)
Condition
Possibly Irish?, unrestored condition, age crack to right stile above juncture of armrests, old marks and scratches, rubbing to handholds, associated needlework with new frop-in seat frame, scuffs to legs, rubbing and losses to trifid feet.
