PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY ARMCHAIRS, in the Chinese Chippendale taste with distinctive splat, shaped arms, and raked front legs with channel-molded detail. Retaining an early surface with rich color. Circa 1770. 35" HOA, 17 1/2" x 22" seat.

Condition

Each in very good overall condition with minor cracks and old repairs to arms on one example. Later upholstery with minor wear and discoloration.
