Description
Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BCE. A set of 2 cast-bronze daggers, each with a recessed handle intended to hold form-fitting inlays. The midrib of the first dagger is slightly more pronounced than that of the larger dagger, however both are covered in lustrous layers of green and brown patina. Size of largest: 13.75" L x 1.1" W (34.9 cm x 2.8 cm)

Each with slight bending to overall forms as well as handle flanges, with light abrasions and earthen deposits, otherwise intact and very good. Great patina throughout.
