Description
Featured in this lot is a custom western two-toned nickel studded chaps circa 1930's. The chaps feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted leather and nickel construction that shows multiple layers of leather for the decorative part that is highly studded with nickel studs and shows shields of leather on the batwing tips that spell the custom name 'LEE.' The sides of the chaps are decorated with rosettes and with brass conchos attached to them and carries the leggings with three clips per side of the chaps. The condition of this pair of chaps is well preserved while still showing wear and scratches to the leather and a patina adorning most of the nickel tacks but and the inside of the chap leggings shows scuff marks but otherwise shows well preserved condition. The measurements of this pair of chaps is 40"L x 35"W and shows a total waist size of 32".*
