Five-Piece American Rococo Revival Laminated Rosewood Parlor Suite
third quarter 19th century, New York, in the pattern referred to as "A-Rose" or "Single Rose", consisting of a pair of settees, h. 46", w. 69", d. 32", an armchair, h. 44-1/2", w. 24-1/2", d. 23", and a pair of side chairs, h. 40-1/2", w. 18", d. 17", all with pierced and carved crests with a central rose.

Notes: The maker of this suite of furniture continues to be unattributed to a specific manufacturer; however, the thinly laminated layers of wood and the style of the carving relate closely to the "Bird Pattern" furniture.

In as found condition. All of the pieces are structurally solid. Each settee has a chunk gone to a flower at the right curve of the back.
