Jackie Nickerson (American, b. 1960). Large Lambda photograph titled "Sister Irene" depicting a portrait of a nun holding a skull, 2005. Sister Irene was a sister of Mary Immaculate and St. Philomena, Mount Tabor Hermitage, Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. With labels from Christie's New York affixed to the verso.
