Other Notes: This lot is sold together with assorted correspondence dating from 1991 to 1992 between a former owner of these artworks in California, and his friend in Leningrad/St. Petersburg. There is also a mailing envelope with three cancelled Russian postage stamps from 1985 and 1986. In addition to identifying the last name of the artist who created these wood engravings, the assorted letters offer interesting insights into everyday life during a tumultuous time in Russia's history.

Each overall good condition. With full margins. A few sheets with slight toning. Occasional scattered surface soiling and some of the margin corners slightly dog-eared. The printed outer folder with general toning, time staining, occasional foxmarks, and the with its spine partially split. The sheets are loose, not matted.
