EXTREMELY RARE RUSSIAN POSTAL STAMP from SHIP 'PETER the GREAT'
Russian postal stamp from the ship 'PETER the GREAT'. The stamp was used on the ship 'PETER THE GREAT' and bears several maker's marks. One of them is quite unusual - 'Molotov'. Molotov was a diplomat who worked with Stalin. Additionally, you may recall the Molotov-Ribbentrop Agreement in 1939 between Russia and Germany.
CONDITION: The item is in very good, used condition. For additional information, please refer to the pictures.
PROVENANCE: 1. By origin, from a family of Russian emigrants in the USA, New York (originally from Odessa, Ukraine), May 13, 1999; 2. Our sale of this item adds another layer of provenance. History of sale is very IMPORTANT for serious collection.
