Pablo Picasso (Spanish,1881-1973). A Madoura studio art pottery pitcher, circa 1952. Titled "Picador". A petite red earthenware clay pitcher with paraffin decoration and black enamel. Depicts a silhouette of a proud picador on horseback, holding his lance. Hand inscribed "Edition Picasso Madoura" to underside. This work is from the unnumbered edition of 500.
Dimensions: 5.25 X 4.5 X 3.5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition with average surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
