Lowell Blair Nesbitt (American, 1933-1993). An original acrylic botanical painting on canvas, Titled "Red Dahlia". A Still Life work depicting a bold red Dahlia flower in full bloom, over a soft pink background. Artist signed, measurements, title and dated '81 on verso. Presented in a black wood frame. This is the original work that was used to produce the serigraph edition for the "The Stamps Series". Provenance: 12/1/2007 Stair Galleries 20th Century Works of Art: LOT 407. From the private collection of Louis Geys (Belgian, 1945-2022).
