Continental School illegibly signed late 19th century painting, unframed, probably French, in the Old Master style, after works by Abraham Hondius (Dutch, 1625-1691), Ferdinand Siegmund Lachenwitz (|German, 1820-1868), Joseph-Benoit Guichard (French, 1806-1880), Roelandt Savery (Dutch, 1576-1639), and Abraham Bisschop (Dutch, 1670-1729), depicting a Classical landscape with swans, dog and peacocks near a pond, in oil on canvas, with French stamp verso. [25 3/4" H x 32 1/4"W]. Areas of restoration; rubbing to edges.
