Description

Offered here for your consideration is a McClellan saddle with accessories. This lot features a richly aged McClellan saddle and many accessories including saddle bags, a scabbard, a saddle blanket, a military greatcoat and leather leggings. These momentos of the frontier military presence would make a great addition to your collection so bid today and make them yours!
MAKER: Various.
APPROX AGE: Antique, vintage and fairly modern as some of the accessories are later additions.
SIZE: The saddle has an 11 1/2 inch seat and seems to fit an average size horse. The greatcoat is a size small. The leggings are 13 inches x 6 inches x 4 inches and 13 1/2 inches x 5 inches x 4 inches.
CONDITION: Pretty good for their ages, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $35 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
SHIPPING: The actual cost of postage will be added on top of the handling charges.
