French silver and enamel card plate with lobed sides, mid to late 19th C., illegible maker's stamp and silver mark to handle, oblong plate with lobed rim creating a border of slight wells, each featuring a classical scene or with polychrome floral scrolls, bird, and urn, center features scene with man approaching swimming maidens, trimmed in silver with two ornate scrolling handles, base with enameled geometric design, wear consistent with age and use including rubbing of enamels, small nicks and dings to silver, mounted in metal wire display stand, etc.,1 1/2" h. x 8 1/4" w. x 5 1/2" d.
