Additionally signed, dated, and inscribed, Aurigente, Driving, on the backside. Nicolas de Stael is a French painter of Russian origin, one of the greatest masters of post war European art. Nicolas de Stael was a French painter of Russian origin known for his use of a thick impasto and his highly abstract landscape painting. He also worked with collage, illustration and textiles. One of a kind artwork.
