Description
French Louis XIV Provincial style diminutive walnut chest of drawers, 19th century, having a shaped top over two short and two long paneled drawers, and raised on square legs, stamped maker's mark E P with a star in a square to upper back of case.
Provenance: Acquired from Sotheby's "French Provincial Furniture, Paintings, Carpets and Decorations From the Estate of 'Dorothy T. Armour,' " New York, May 1, 1984, lot 238; from the Private Collection of Tania Armour Becker, Atlanta, Georgia.
