Chest. Last quarter of 19th century. Louis XIV style in oyster wood with top having satinwood inlaid birds in flight and butterflies with floral urn, biscuit corners over four scroll front dovetail drawers with matching inlay and original brass bale handles, flanked by ogee columns with lambs tongue terminal at top with similar inlay, solid ends with floral urn & butterflies, cove molded apron with inlay on sides and carved lion paw front feet and ogee cut-out back feet, oak & pine secondary woods. 39w x 24 1/2d x 32 1/2h.
Condition
front cove molding are old replacements, other minor chips. very good
