A minimal contemporary etching and aquatint on paper titled "Laboratory Still Life II, State I" by sculptor Tony Cragg. Hand signed in pencil and dated 1988 on the bottom right. Annotated 4/30 on the bottom left. Published by Crown Point Press and printed by Mark Callen. The Laboratory Still Life series depicts various laboratory utensils against a dark, stark background. The bottles have a transparent effect and are delicately outlined in white. As a trained scientist, Cragg created a different perspective on traditional still life. From a private collection. Dimensions: 22.25"h x 45"w x 1.25"d (framed). In very good vintage condition.
