A SMALL CHANGSHA GLAZED WATER POT, 15th-16th CENTURY

Southeast Asia, 15th to 16th century. Of compressed globular form, rising to a short circular neck, the exterior covered with a pale green glaze suffused with a fine network of crackles above radiating dark brushstrokes on the shoulder, the glaze stopping irregularly above the foot exposing the brown body.

Condition: Good condition with minor wear and firing irregularities.
