Group of four unframed and unmatted ornithological etchings after Prideaux John Selby (English, 1788-1867), each laid down on paper, two partially colored, comprising: Plovers; a Sanderling; a Cinereous Shearwater; and Four Birds: Fieldfare, Thrush, Redwing, and Blackbird. All dated in pencil, 1834, and signed in the plate. Provenance: Phyllis Lucas Gallery, NYC. [Each, overall: 20 1/4" H x 25 1/8" W]. All with losses, creases, wear to edges, scattered spots and handling marks, toning, and small stains.
