Group of four unframed and unmatted ornithological etchings from "Illustrations of British Ornithology" after Prideaux John Selby (English, 1788-1867), each laid down on paper, comprising: an Eider, Female; a Little Bittern; a Fulmar Petrel; and a Gadwall Duck, Male. All dated in pencil, 1834, and signed in the plate. Provenance: Phyllis Lucas Gallery, NYC. [Each, sheet: 15 5/8" H x 21 3/8" W; Each, overall: 20 1/4" H x 25 1/8" W]. All with losses, creases, wear to edges, scattered spots and handling marks, toning, and small stains.
