Description
A lot of four antique elongate agate Chung Dzi beads from the Himalayan Tibetan region, attributed to the Qing dynasty era. Each bead measures between 3.7 to 4.3 cm in length, translating to about 1.46 to 1.69 inches, and they are collectively a striking example of the artisanship of the time. The rich, warm hues and layered patterns of the agate material are indicative of the beads' historical significance and the spiritual symbolism they held in Tibetan culture. The elongated form is characteristic of Chung Dzi beads, known for their protective qualities and their use in traditional ornamentation and prayer. This lot is a rare find and would be a prestigious addition to any collection of Asian antiquities.
