Beautiful 17th - 18th Century, Spanish plug bayonet fighting dagger, the knife is composed of a tapering and lacquered turned wood handle, an acorn finial at the brass pommel and crossguard, a tapering blade with a false edge. The sheath comprises of a brass mouthpiece with a suspension ring, and chape on a brown leather body.
Wear consistent with age, minor oxidation to the blade, some scuffing and scratching throughout, cracking to the leather sheath. Full Length 20 inch Blade Length 13 inch
