Latin America, Mexico, ca. 20th to early 21st century CE. A vivacious Dios de los Muertos skeleton or calaca dressed in a bright pink and blue dress and holding a hula hoop, all constructed from paper mache, party ribbons, and metal wire. Multi-colored coils of ribbons form her hair peaking out from her top hat and framing her skeletal visage. Size: 18.5" L x 19.5" W x 37.4" H (47 cm x 49.5 cm x 95 cm)

Losses with some tearing to ribbons on peripheries of skirt and at hips with some bending to paper of skirt and sleeves. Abrasions to base, but otherwise, intact and excellent.
