An American etcher, lithographer and woodcut artist, Henry Winzenreid studied art at the Detroit Institute of Fine Arts and in St. Louis. Beginning his career as primarily a painter, Winzenreid created his first original print in 1924. After that date he devoted himself almost exclusively to the graphic arts and his lithographs, etchings and woodcuts were exhibited in major national venues in Boston, New York, San Francisco, Cleveland, Atlanta and elsewhere. During his career, he traveled extensively and created works of art depicting various regions in South America, Mexico and Canada. Henry E. Winzenreid was a full member of the Chicago Society of Etchers.

Conditon: Very good condtion, no stains, tearing, or matte lines.
