Group of Delhi New York temperance related ephemera to include a hand written speech titled "The Experiment" apparently delivered at the Howard Lodge in December 23rd 1870 by Mrs. E P Howard & Mrs. J A Camp. Also a number of other hand written speeches delivered before the Temperance Society by other speakers. Lot also includes a scrap book with newspaper clippings and various Temperance Society ephemera. Lot also has a completely filled hand written extensive book belonging to Emeline P Howard Delhi New York dated 1850. Writings are poems either copied or written for newspapers as the back of the book gives the name of the newspaper in which it had been published. Condition - some wear and soil as shown but a very interesting piece of Delhi New York related ephemera.
