Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. A large grouping of mostly vintage wild animal photos, some marked on reverse "New York Zoological Society Photo - The Zoological Park" including a "White Rhino". Other photos include poisonous snakes, birds, bears, monkeys, zebras, rhinos, apes, elephant, etc. - the snakes being the largest measuring 11" x 4". Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork, photos and ephemera were found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
