HERMES PARIS silk "Perspective" scarf. This scarf is particularly rare as a first edition from the 1950s. This scarf was designed by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre, an acclaimed french artist whos print in publicity were really famous during his time. The print features an Escher-esque architectural construction with a unique play on perspective in the different tones of muted pink and taupe accented by white clouds. Drawn by AM Cassandre, first edition in 1951, re-issued in 1968, 1991, 2008 and 2009. The scarf measures approx. 34.5-34.75? Sewn in tag not present. Very rare, especially sought after, very rare in the pink variation.
