Description
CORNELIS HUYBERTS (Dutch, 1669-1712), and After ANDREA MANTEGNA (Italian, 1431–1506), Caesar's Triumphant Return to Rome, 1753, including Plate No. 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85; nine engravings on laid paper, (approximate dimensions - sheet (each): 16 5/8 x 19 5/8 inches); on lower margin: Andreas Mantinea Pinxit, C: Huijberts, Sculp.; all are labeled on frame verso. Condition: All have toning, foxing, and some have margins trimmed. Two were examined out of frame, both are adhered to masonite verso, all are likely to be adhered. Notes: Frames have wear, approximate dimensions - frame (each): 25 3/8 x 28 3/8 inches.
