A Violin made in China, labeled: ROMANO CLEMENTE / LIUTISTA / ISTRUMENTI MUSICALI, ACCESSORI / COMO / VIA A. VOLTA No. 9, No. 16 2007. The two-piece quarter sawn maple back of medium curl ascending from the center joint. The maple ribs are of medium curl. The maple head is of narrow and medium curl. The two-piece spruce table is of narrow grain broadening slightly toward the flanks. The varnish is a lightly shaded red-brown color over a pale gold ground.
